|Inside Page Layouts|
The principal characteristic of the Line Border photo book is a thin double line surrounding the photos. There are multi-photo cover and inside flap layouts, standard three introduction pages, Chapter page, maps page and blank page, as well as one-, two-, three-, and four-photo layouts. The Baskerville font is used for text by default. Since Line Border's interior layouts are identical to Simple Border's, you can consult them on that page. Texture Border also uses the same layouts.
In all other ways, the Line Border interior layouts are identical to those in Simple Border.
I have created a completely updated, printable guide for each iPhoto Book Theme from iPhoto '09. Each one costs $3 or you can buy the entire set of 16 guides for $20. Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back.
There is a separate printable guide for each of the Border themes: Simple Border, Line Border, and Texture Border.
The only changes to the Line Border layout in iPhoto '09 are the addition of three introduction (or text) pages and the ability to create maps. As far as I can tell, everything else has remained the same.
The Line Border theme offers four light earthy tones for the backgrounds for the outside and adds the Photo Background option (formerly Palm Tree) to let you use any image you want for the background of the inside pages.
Apart from the full-bleed cover (not shown), Line Border lets you use one large photo or three photos.
With one large vertical photo, you get the caption on the right. With a horizontal photo, the caption is placed below. Note that I changed the background for the two examples.
With three photos, you get three rigid frames: one large vertical to the left and two medium horizontals stacked on the right. The title and subheader go below:
These are identical (except for the photo border) to the ones shown on the Simple Border page.
Here's my description of the Line Border theme in iPhoto '08.
If you have any comments, questions, or suggestions, I'd love to hear them.
